27/12/01 (Before Ayurvedic Treatment ) |
Multiple metastatic lesions seen involving all segments of right lobe with large mass occupying virtually the entire right lobe inferior involving segment IV and V (mass size 11 x 8 cm necrotic mass). |
26/04/02 (after chemotherapy & 3 months after Ayurvedic Treatment ) |
There appears regression of all small metastatic nodules in liver except the nodule in anterior segment of right lobe. Large irregular mass in right lobe also shows moderate decrease in size and now appears dense in relation to fatty liver parenchyma hence may represent fat spared regenerating tissue rates than residual tumor. (mass size 6.5 x 3 x 5.6 cm). |

Study within normal limits except for diffuse fatty infiltration in liver. No significant abnormality noted. |

Remarks by Ayurvedic Physician: | This is a post operated, post chemotherapy case of Vama Stana – Dushta Medoja Arbuda and Dushta Granthi as Upadrava (1/2). She was under oral hormonal treatment for next 2 years. She was suffering from Urdhwaga Amlapitta since last 8 years. Kamadudha Rasa and Praval Pishtee were used due to their Pitta Shamaka action. Aarogyavardhini was used to prevent recurrence due to its Rasa and Mansa Dhatwagni Deepak and Rasa and Mansa Dhatu Shodhak action, as the site of Dushta Mansarbuda was Stana (breast) which is the Upadhatu – Stanya (breast milk) of Rasa and the Arbuda was Dushta Mansa dominant. Kushmanda is Rasayana for Rasa Dhatu and useful in Amlapitta. Paushtik Ladu is Balya (gives strength). |
