Significant decrease in size of the lesion is noted. No fresh abnormality noted.

No significant abnormality. No residual/ recurrent disease. Right pyriform fossa bulge not seen. Upper thorax shows bilateral pleural effusion.

In this case complete remission is seen for 1 year of Ayurvedic treatment. Patient could tolerate radiation with minimal side effects. Patient is now almost free of any symptoms. Recorded 5 year survival in this type of cases is 55%1. His Karnofsky score is now 100 and ECOG score is 0.

All cut margins and base are free of tumour. Right supraomohyoid dissection – 8 negative nodes. Salivary gland is unremarkable.
