While treating admitting the patient in Cancer Research Project certain procedures are followed :<\/p>\n

\"\"Patients diagnosed of Cancer and confirmed by reports of biopsy, cytology and other tests are included in the project.<\/p>\n

The patients, who can be benefited by Panchakarma treatment, are admitted in our hospital at Wagholi, Pune.<\/p>\n

Detailed case history is documented from Ayurvedic as well as allopathic point of view in separate case record forms.<\/p>\n

The patients are divided into four groups before starting this treatment.<\/p>\n

  1. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Group A : Fresh, untreated, confirmed Cancer patients.<\/li>\n
  2. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Group B : Allopathic failures \u2013 progressive Cancer.<\/li>\n
  3. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Group C : Complimentary with other Allopathic treatment.<\/li>\n
  4. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Group D : Supportive; Cancer previously controlled by other methods of Allopathy.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Authentic Ayurvedic medicines are used for Cancer patients, which are prepared at \u2018Atharva Nature Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.\u2019 associated with trust & located in trust campus.<\/p>\n

    Ayurvedic treatment is started by Prof. Dr. S. P. Sardeshmukh, (Phd. Ayurved,Director- ICRTC ) Dr. Vineeta Deshmukh, (Phd Ayurved Deputy Director- ICRTC) and other well known Ayurvedic physician.<\/p>\n

    Evaluation of patients from allopathic point of view is done periodically by Dr. Arvind Kulkarni, Dr. Jagdish Shinde, (MD Radiotherapy)<\/p>\n

    Dr. Tushar Patil (Medical Oncologist). Dr. Keyur Gutte (Oncosurgeon), Dr. Shrikant Ankolikar (Oncosurgeon), Dr. Anil Sanghaneria (Oncosurgeon).<\/p>\n

    at Mumbai and Pune centers and Dr. Shirish Kumthekar (Oncosurgon) at Solapur center.<\/p>\n

    Possible benefits, risks and other options of treatment of Cancer are explained to the patient and relatives. Each patient has to sign a consent form at the time of registration.<\/p>\n

    Regular follow up and evaluation of Ayurvedic treatment is carried out by Prof. Dr. S. P. Sardeshmukh, (Director- ICRTC ) Dr. Vineeta Deshmukh, (Deputy Director) and Dr. Vasanti Godse, Dr. Swapna Kulkarni, Dr. Shweta Gujar, Dr. Shriniwas Datar etc.<\/p>\n
