:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Mammography is a process of using low energy X rays (usually around 30kVp) to examine the female breast for diagnosis and screening.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aim of Mammography:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Early detection of breast cancer.<\/p>\n<p>Mammography plays a central part in early detection of breast cancer as it shows changes in the breast years before a patient or physician can feel them.<\/p>\n<p>According to the guidelines from American College of Radiology (ACR) and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) recommend screening mammography every year for women beginning at age 40 years &amp; above.
